Spanish brand Zara opens its 1st store in South India

Zara, the fashion concept owned by Inditex Group, opens its first store in South India at Bangalore. The store spread over 17,779 square feet, is located at Whitefield, Bangalore.

This store will offer international fashion to customers looking for trendy and fashionable products at attractive prices. Zara will feature its wide range of collection for men, women, children, teenagers and kids.

The interior of this store is designed keeping the customer's comfort in mind. The customer friendly appeal of the store offers easy accessibility and convenient display of all products making shopping a simple and special experience for customers.

With the launch of this store in Bangalore, the presence of Zara has gone up to seven stores in India. For its expansion in India, Inditex has formed a joint venture with Trent Limited, the retail arm part of the Tata Group, one of the country's top industrial conglomerates. Recently, both companies have also extended the joint venture agreement to open Massimo Dutti -another of Inditex's fashion concept- stores in India.

Inditex is one of the world's largest fashion retailers, welcoming shoppers at its eight store formats -Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti,Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe - boasting 5.221 stores in 78 countries.

Zara is flexible and fast in adapting to the market demands. With a creative team of more than 350 professionals, Zara's design process is based on the demands and desires of customers. Its model is characterised by continuous product renovation: new articles reach the stores twice a week. Zara is now present in 78 countries with more than 1,700 stores.
